SERVICES · CUSTOM HOMES01 / THREE WAYS TO BUILD WITH USFully custom, one of our plans,
or a home that is ready now.
People often ask whether we are a custom builder or a spec builder. The honest answer is both, and it helps to know the difference before you call. A fully custom home starts with a conversation, not a stack of plans. We learn how you live, then shape the floor plan, exterior and finishes around you and your land.
If one of our floor plans already feels close, we can build it as drawn or adjust it, and you still make your own selections. If you would rather skip the wait, our spec homes are built by the same crews with the same standard features, and you can walk through them before you buy. Not sure which path fits? Our guide to custom vs semi-custom vs production homes lays out the trade-offs in plain language.
03 / HOW WE'RE DIFFERENTMost of the work is
done by our own crews.
We understand the worries that come with new construction. Our answer is to keep most of the work in-house: our own team handles framing, siding, finish work, electrical and masonry, and we bring in trusted subcontractors we know well for the rest. That gives us more control over quality and schedule than hiring out every trade.
Bob Bachman spent about 15 years with the City of Kuna, including years as a building inspector, before finishing there as Public Works Director. Lisa Bachman, AICP, joined the company full time in March 2024 after a long career in planning and civil engineering. Codes, permits and site planning are familiar ground for both of them. Meet the people behind your build on our team page.
“The majority of their work is done in house, which sets them apart from other builders & is definitely a benefit to their clients, as they seem to have more control over what's happening.”
