In our own words, Lone Star Ranch offers beautiful one-acre homesites in a country setting close to Lake Lowell and the Idaho wine country, with stately modern-country homes and mountain views. The community is planned for about 90 one-acre homesites on roughly 117 acres of former Huff Farms land, which dates to 1946.

Lone Star Ranch was built in four phases. Phase 4 is the final phase, with 18 homesites; two were reserved by August 2026, and Canyon County Commissioners gave final sign-off on September 24, 2026. Homes are on septic, and listings show the Nampa School District. John Cotner is the developer named on the official Parade listing for The Cody.

The Cody is our showpiece here: 5,296 sq ft plus 1,234 sq ft of covered outdoor living, a heated pool, a private pickleball court and a hidden speakeasy reached by elevator. It was our 2026 Canyon County Parade: The Cody entry and won Best Overall for the whole 2026 Snake River Valley Parade of Homes, sweeping all six judged awards in its category and taking Category Overall.

Our second Lone Star Ranch home is built on our Welles 2.0 plan: 3,110 sq ft on one level on a 0.97 acre corner lot, a 60-foot RV bay, every bedroom with its own en suite plus a bonus suite, and a full Thermador kitchen with a 48-inch range. It was nearing completion in October 2026.
