A small subdivision
in Star.

LongBow Estates is one of the smaller communities we build in. The lot map on this page shows the plat. We hold two of the lots, 9 and 10, for buyers who want a Bachman home without hunting for land. Because it is small, there is no long list of shared amenities to pay for; your lot and your home are the point.

Star is a growing city in the northwest Treasure Valley along the Boise River. Pavilion Park has a playground, splash pad, pickleball courts and a dog park, and Hunter's Creek Sports Complex hosts youth sports. If you are weighing towns, our Star custom home builder page goes deeper.

Plans to consider for
a LongBow lot.

We have not finished a home in LongBow Estates yet, so you would be among the first. Most of our clients start from a plan they love and change what they need. A few that buyers in Star often ask about:

  • The Jane: 3,880 sq ft on one level with an RV bay, the plan behind our 2nd Place People's Choice home at the 2026 Spring Boise Parade of Homes.
  • The Welles 2.0: 3,110 sq ft, four bedrooms plus an office, a 3-car garage and an RV bay.
  • The Samantha: 3,132 sq ft on one level with a butler's pantry, a book room and an RV bay.

    Identify your budget

    Get construction pre-approval if you are financing, so the lot, size and finishes fit together.

  2. 02

    Meet with us

    We like to get to know you first: how you live, what you need and which LongBow lot suits it.

  3. 03

    Reserve the lot

    A retainer deposit reserves your lot and places your home on our construction schedule.

  4. 04

    Finalize the plan and build

    We finish the floor plan, sign the build contract, permit and build. Our typical build time is 6 to 8 months.

How many lots are available in LongBow Estates?

As of October 2026, Bachman Custom Homes lists two LongBow Estates lots in Star, Idaho. Lots can be reserved at any time, so call 208-577-8794 or check our homes for sale and coming soon page for the current status before you plan around one.

Can I use my own floor plan in LongBow Estates?

Yes. You can bring your own design, start from one of our plans such as The Jane or The Welles 2.0, or design from scratch with us. We finalize room sizes, outdoor living and storage with you before the build contract is signed.

How long does it take to build a custom home in Star, Idaho?

Our typical build time is 6 to 8 months once permits are in hand. Build time varies with home size, complexity, weather and material availability, and planning and permitting come first. You get updates as your home moves through each phase of construction.

Are there new homes for sale in Star, Idaho from Bachman?
