Our commitment
Bachman Custom Homes wants everyone to be able to explore our homes, floor plans and guides, and to reach us easily. We are working to make bachmancustomhomes.com conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA, the standard published by the World Wide Web Consortium. Last updated October 22, 2026.
What we do
We build this site with accessibility in mind and check it as we add pages. Our work includes:
- pages built with clear headings, landmarks and one main heading per page
- text descriptions (alt text) for meaningful photos
- forms with visible labels and status messages that screen readers announce
- navigation and forms that work with a keyboard
- color and text choices that aim for readable contrast
- films that respect the reduced-motion setting on your device where possible, with the same information available as text
Known limitations
Some content is not yet fully accessible. Several older floor plan PDFs are scanned images without a text layer, so screen readers cannot read them; the key details for each plan are also written on its web page, and we can send the information in another format. Content from other services, such as 3D tours, maps and embedded videos, may not meet the same standard. We are working to improve these.
