Who we are

This website is run by Bachman Custom Homes, a family-owned custom home builder in Nampa, Idaho. This policy explains, in plain language, what information we collect when you use bachmancustomhomes.com, why we collect it, and the choices you have. Last updated November 7, 2026.

Information you give us

When you fill out a form on this site, such as the contact form or a request for a guide or floor plan, we collect what you type in:

your name and email address
your phone number, if you provide it
your answer to "Where are you moving from?", if you provide it
your message and the type of home or service you are interested in
the page you sent the form from

Information collected automatically

Along with your form, we record how you reached the site: campaign tags in the link you followed (UTM source, medium, campaign, term and content), an advertising click ID if you came from a Google ad, and the referring web address. This tells us which of our marketing is working.

Our forms include spam protection. A hidden field catches automated submissions, and when it is turned on, Cloudflare Turnstile checks that a real person is submitting the form, which involves your IP address and basic browser information.

We use PostHog, a website analytics service, to understand how the site is used: the pages you visit, the links and buttons you click, how far you scroll, how fast pages load, your device type and your general location. It does not record what you type into forms, does not record your screen, and does not build a personal profile of you. PostHog stores an anonymous identifier in your browser (a cookie or local storage). You can block or delete these in your browser settings, and blocking them does not affect how the site works. If we add Google Analytics through Google Tag Manager in the future, it may collect similar information and set its own cookies.

How we use your information

We use what you send us to answer your questions, schedule meetings, send the guides or plans you asked for, follow up about your project, and understand which pages and campaigns bring people to us. Your form submission goes to our customer relationship management system, GoHighLevel, where we keep track of conversations with prospective and current clients. We may email or call you about your inquiry. You can ask us to stop at any time.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not give it to other companies for their own marketing. We share it only with the service providers that run this website and our business: Cloudflare, which hosts the site and processes form submissions; GoHighLevel, our CRM; PostHog, our website analytics; and Google, if Google analytics are enabled. We may also disclose information when the law requires it.

Some pages include videos or 3D tours from YouTube, Vimeo or Matterport. Those services may collect information under their own privacy policies when you play or open them.

How long we keep it and how we protect it

We keep inquiry information for as long as it is useful for our relationship with you and for our business records, and then delete it. The site is served over HTTPS, and access to our CRM is limited to the people who need it. No system is perfectly secure, so please do not send sensitive financial information through our web forms.

Your choices

You can ask us to tell you what information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it, and you can opt out of marketing emails at any time using the unsubscribe link or by contacting us. This website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information. If we change this policy, we will post the new version here with a new date.
