A right-sized
mountain home.
Not every mountain home needs to be enormous. The Gale is one of the most compact homes in our portfolio at 2,570 sq ft, and it still gives every bedroom its own bath: 3 bedrooms and 3 baths, plus a 2-car garage for the gear that comes with life in the mountains.
From the road you see two gabled wings in board and batten, stone at the base of the porch columns and garage piers, dark metal roof accents and a covered entry porch. It reads as a farmhouse that belongs in the valley rather than a city house dropped into the trees.

Like every Bachman home, The Gale was built with most of the work done by our own team. We frame, side, wire, finish and set masonry in-house, and we bring in trusted subcontractors for the rest. That is how we keep quality and schedule in our hands on a mountain build just as we do in town.
Bob and Lisa Bachman run the company together, and we keep an office in Garden Valley as well as Nampa, so a mountain build gets the same attention as one in town. Read more about how our build process works.
