THE TERRACE LAKES CABIN · AN IMAGINED JOURNEY

Inspired by a real home.
Brought to life in motion.

The opening is a real photograph of the finished The Terrace Lakes Cabin from Bachman Custom Homes. Only the construction sequence (foundation, framing, roof) is generated architectural visualization, made with an AI video model from Bachman's own photograph of this home. Everything after it, from the front door to the backyard, is real photographs of the finished home shown with a slow camera move.

The construction sequence is illustrative: the footprint follows the real home, but the stages, crews and equipment are imagined. Generated motion connects real photographs of the rooms, so cuts join separate spaces and some details may differ from the home as built. It is not drone footage, a measured reconstruction or a real 360° tour.

Scroll in either direction or choose a chapter. "Watch film" plays the silent journey without scrolling. With reduced motion, scroll scrubbing is off; chapters and "Watch film" still work.

01 / THE BUILD

A cabin that belongs
in the trees.

Some homes are about square footage. This one is about the setting. The Terrace Lakes Cabin was placed among mature pines, and the design leans into that: a steep timber gable with exposed brackets over the entry, a stone wall framing tall windows and double doors, warm board and batten siding and a metal roof that sheds mountain snow.

A view deck gives the cabin an outdoor room for mornings and evenings in the trees. It is the kind of place you build to slow down.

02 / BUILDING IN THE MOUNTAINS

What changes on
a mountain build.

Building a cabin is not the same as building in a Treasure Valley subdivision. Access, snow, slopes and trees all shape the schedule and the site work, and there is less room for a crew that does not show up. That is one reason we do most of our framing, siding and finish work in-house and keep an office in Garden Valley as well as Nampa.

Every home is completely customizable, from the layout to the finishes. Our process page walks through the steps, from the first conversation to the final walkthrough.
