4. How does the design and selections process work?
Ask how much say you'll have in layout changes, finishes, and fixtures — and how much time you should expect to spend on selections like cabinets, tile, and lighting.
5. What happens after I move in?
A great builder doesn't disappear at closing. Ask about warranty coverage, homeowner orientation, and who to call if something comes up down the road.
